One of our guests called our place ‘an enchanted forest’. And we are convinced you and your family and friends will be in awe of the unique and beautiful setting of our barn, and the surrounding ponds, the lush gardens, the open fields, and the endless forest.
Though our place is first and foremost an event facility, we will 
gladly advise you in your preparations and help you in finding all the right vendors for your event. Your booking at our barn comes with our extensive Green List: a reliable vendor list with a focus on all local quality specialists, caterers, lodging options, etc.

Our Green List offers many great options for a wide variety of services your wedding might require. From florists and fiddlers to cake bakers and local artisans, our solid Green List will help you discover and map out the best of our region.
All our recommendations are solely based on quality and experience, by the way, never on commissions or kickbacks.
Manolo, beware!
Weddings are always a great reason to dress up. And a barn wedding can be wildly stylish. But high heels, especially stilettos, might not be the most comfortable choice in and around our barn. 
So tell your guests to go for low heels, or stable yet flashy platform soles. Or simply leave the Jimmy Choo’s at home this time and dance the night away on comfy flip-flops!
Planning your event
We presume that planning a wedding isn’t your typical routine undertaking. And planning a Catskills wedding, away from home, might seem a little challenging. But not to worry.
With plenty of hands-on experience, we can help you organize your destination event in a pleasant, secure and solid way.
We’ll offer you our extensive and very reliable Green List of vendor recommendations, floor plans with a range of seating arrangement suggestions, and we’ll give you all the advise you might need.
Finding your caterer
Once you’re officially set on your date at The Roxbury Barn, finding your caterer is most likely your next big decision. We can help you find the perfect culinary match, through our Green List and our guiding recommendations. Based on our experience with a very diverse group of caterers from the Catskills and Hudson Valley regions, we’ll help you discover the right caterer for your reception.
Catskills lodging
Another main planning chapter will be the accommodations for you and your guests during your wedding weekend. As all or most of your guests will most likely come to our neck of the woods from elsewhere, being able to offer suitable lodging options for all will be essential for your destination wedding. Luckily, Roxbury and its surrounding area offer a great range of lodging options for all, and our Green List maps those dozens of options out clearly and precise.
Our offer
Your wedding at The Roxbury Barn includes a full day for your event, with a full day to set up, on the previous day. There are no extra hourly charges, and we only host one event per week. It’s your weekend.
From the get-go we’ll determine any of your needs and wishes and we’ll offer you our highly praised Green List. We’ll 
also hand you floor plans with over a dozen seating arrangements, sparing you a lot of puzzling hours. We’ll answer all your questions as they pop up in the planning process, and invite you to plan site visits, like a walk through with your caterer.
Of course we will also be present at the day of setup, and at your big day. We’ll do the clean-up, and you have the day after your wedding to come and collect any left behind items.
